As a percussionist, producer and remixer his work has gained support from some of the biggest and respected names in dance music worldwide and has seen him play at some of the worlds most reveered venues....All of this while still at the tender age of 22. Chris has toured to all four corners of the globe providing beats for a string of superstar DJs including Roger Sanchez, Basement Jaxx, Chris Lake, Mauro Picotto, ATFC, Danny Rampling and many many more.
This alongside constant international touring with superbrand HedKandi as well as dates for Gatecrasher, Fierce Angel and Pukka Up to adoring crowds worldwide and enthralled radio listeners tuning in on the galaxy network where he has performed frequently. 2009 alone saw trips to South America, Asia and extensive European touring as well as the yearly summer commute to house mecca Ibiza.
He blends traditional african and cuban percussion, drumset and electronics and on the fly production, which gives him one of the largest pallets of sounds (many his own crafted in the studio) of any percussionist on the scene and allows him to accompany a broad range of musical styles, from main room house and trance, to soulful and chilled out grooves to the darkest underground techno.
This is apparent from his extensive CV of artists he has been fortunate to play with in his short career to date....such as the soulful vocal vibes of Hedkandi to the darker techno sound of circo loco and to live PA's with some of the hottest vocal talent in house at the moment; such as Tara Mcdonald, Julie Mcknight, Candi Staton, Max C, No Halo, Peyton as well as the Basment Jaxx.
Chris juggles a heavy live touring schedule with a frantic studio diary as a producer/remixer/songwriter in his own right. His records have gained critical support both in the UK, throughout europe and in the US and have gained support from a considerable whos who of A list DJs, producers and radio stations.
Recent releases have included original records with legendary house diva Angie Brown, Saxophonist Lady V and rising starlets Vee Scott and Ky that gained airplays from Galaxy FM, Kiss and Radio 1 with "Heaven with you" with Angie Brown reaching #13 in the club chart, this coupled with remixes for Timmy Vegas, Katherine Ellis Deepcitysoul, Leggz and U-ness and a busy freelance schedule on top. 2010 will see the release of his eagerly awaited debut artist album "Drums of Voodoo" as well as singles on Toolroom, Discopolis, Openbar Music, Peppermint Jam, Housesound of LA, Moneypennys Music, Soulheat Records and DeeceeEs as well as an additional EP for miami WMC and a big release set for early in the year with long time collabarator Steve Haines on the mighty cr2 records.Again it features the powerhouse vocals of Angie Brown....
