Hard Kitty is a Larger than life female Hard Dance DJ and aspiring Producer. This year has seen her not only win the prestigious Atomic DJ Competition but voted the Number one up and coming DJ of 2009 in the UK by the HHF (Hard House Federation).

She is possibly one of the most energetic Hard Dance DJ’s you will ever see in action. Described by some clubbers as explosive and fantastic she not only rules the dance floor with her stage presence but also with her vast musical knowledge and technical ability.

Specializing in Hard House, Hard Trance and Euro Hard Trance, Her trademark; Massive Baselines, Huge Uplifting Riffs, Vocals that send shivers down your spine and a Kick that will make you stomp like there’s no tomorrow, are all guaranteed to get dance floors pumping.

At the tender age of 10 she was given her first ever drum emulator and synth pack and started producing mind boggling Hard Trance and Acid House… “My first experience of hard dance was thanks to the sadly passed god of the air waves John Peel. It’s funny looking back, I never particularly followed the commercial music crowd even as a young child.

At the time when all my mates loved the Spice Girls I was rocking out to Fear Factory and Yoji Biomehanika.” Within 2 weeks of Hard Kitty first touching a Deck she was given her first DJ set and only a month later had her first residencies SIN, Booty House and OTT playing a mix of house, electro and old school hip hop.

“I used to really love house and I still do… but my main problem was that it is too slow. It was only after a few years of DJing that I realized that I am hard dance through and through.” On new years day at Gatecrasher for B2T she played her first ever hard dance set and she smashed it.

From there she was given her first Hard Dance residency at D-Railed, and has played up and down the country and across in Europe for brands such as TIDY, B2T, BLESSED, D-RAILED, E:volve, Hands Up Explosion and Xstatic.

“DJing in front of 3500 people is probably one of my highlights of my career and I must admit there is no way to describe the feeling you get when you see that many people with their hands in the air.” Five years on Hard Kitty stands to develop into well established DJ, with future gigs lined up at Atomik Weekender 4 and more in the UK, Es Paradise, Eden and Privilege in Ibiza!
