The Kidd started out as an underground reggea dj back in 1998. He always found from a young age that he had a ear for music and a talent for mixing. His flavour ranges from the likes of old school hiphop, reggae, and funk. His father My father was a DJ and took ever chance he got to be practicing on the 1's and 2's.

It was with the help of his father he got his first gigs at local block parties and he slowly started to a make a name for himself as someone who knew their way around the decks. The Kidd didn't stop there as time when by he started throwing down at more shows and even started branching into techno raves. He was building a following.

Things started moving for the Kidd when a chance meeting brough him in contact with a prominent local club promoter who decided to give him a chance.  The Kidd is a versitile dj and ranges across many genres from oldschool/newschool Hiphop, R&B, Soul, Nu-Soul, Funk, Oldies but Goodies, Rap, Underground Hiphop, Reggae, Culture Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Culipso, Ragga, Ragga Jungle, and D.C.'s own Go-Go music. He is also no stranger to Trance, Techno, Dance, Reggeaton, Salsa, Dirty South Rap, and even Hindu beats!

Next time you are in the D.C area  or Baltimore city be sure to check him out. The Kidd also has his own late night show here on DanceRadio.ca
