Davy Jones, lead singer of the monkeys has passed away suddenly in his sleep yesterday morning following a severe heart attack. He was 66. Just two weeks ago he was out having fun and signing autographs looking completely healthy. 

There does not appear to be anything suspicious related to his head according the to Martin Health System, this is where the Martin Country Fire Rescue team too him after responding to an urgent call asking them to Hurry.

The rest of the band is in shock and expressing great sadness at the loss.

Davy leaves behind four daughters, Talia Elizabeth, Sarah Lee, Jessica Lillian and Annabel Charlotte.

Born in Manchester but moved to the U.S.A where he spent the majority of his time as a young icon and heartthrob.

The group mostly reunited for a 45th anniversary tour last year however due to apparent "issues" within the group the tour never completely finished and forced some shows to be canceled completed.
