Flash Back Track of the Week...

‘Higher State of Consciousness’ by DJ, producer, remixer, label owner, and artist Josh Wink was originally release in 1995 at which time it reached #8 on the UK Singles Chart. Notably, it also made #1 on Mixmag’s Best Singles of 1995 and #4 on their 1996 release of the Best Dance Singles of ALL time. It was remixed several times in the following year, but it was the 2007 remix by Dirty South that reached #1 on the UK Dance Chart.

I’ve attached both versions below. I prefer the original version, but love the cameo by a guy wearing a Canada t-shirt in the 2007 version!
