We’re super excited to announce the addition of Marty McFly and S.O.S & P4L4DiN to the DanceRadio family!! These two guys (yes two, not three) are some of the original trailblazers of the rave scene in the GTA. They’ve been around since raves were underground and are still rockin’ it today!

They will be doing a rotating weekly show starting this week with S.O.S and can be found Sunday nights at 9:00pm on Channel 1.

UPDATE: SUPER excited about the first show by S.O.S this Sunday! It was recorded in 1999 at Hullabaloo 'Big Top'! I was there to see this one live!! (You may remember back to my Flash Back Track from 02.10.12)

Marty McFly
(Breakbeats)

“Marty McFly discovered his love of mixing and breakbeats in Vancouver, back in 1992 before cruisin’ over to Toronto in ‘95. This oldskool Canadian breakbeat mixologist continues to share his love of breaks by mixing live sets across the country while also broadcasting his performances online to the world. His passion for music makes for a shit load of fun when you’re out on the dance floor. He currently has a residency in Toronto for Daydream as well as a clothing sponsorship with Solid Apparel and soon to have an exciting broadcast via danceradio.ca

S.O.S
(Old Skool Hard Trance, Hard House, and Hardcore)

“A long time ago, in a galaxy far...far... away Actually Thunder Bay, Ontario, 1989, I saw a local DJ at an all ages night. His name was "DJ El Sid" (now known as Ryan7) and a Canadian top 10 DMC finalist. His ability to mix, scratch and perform - all the while playing danceable music - floored me. From that moment I knew what I wanted to do - period.

In 1991 I got a job with a local DJ service and started out my career. In 1994 I moved to Toronto and lived with Ryan7, along with a group of Thunder Bay Dj's who left the small mill town. The group of us were eventually known as "The Barrie Bunch", named after the street we lived on. I had gone from listening to old ZZ Top and playing harmonica... to Depeche Mode/New Order/Front 242... to record shopping once a week in Toronto for the newest dance music I could find. Eventually we went on to create "The Entertainment Network" or as it was known "E! Network". For three years we put on events in Toronto and ran an underground club called "ThE! SpacE!". I was lucky to come when I did, as the summer of '94 was the peak of the rave scene in Toronto. Experiencing the vibe at 5,000-15,000 single arena events in Toronto at that time is something that I cannot put into words.

It's fun to look back and remember the path that I took to progress from just a local small town rookie to being in demand across North America. As for producing my own music now, I feel that it is the natural progression of any artist to convert the ideas in their head into a media that can be shared. This is my goal now as a producer; to take the ideas I have accumulated - using the knowledge I have gained over the years and to make them real...and share them.”

P4L4DiN
(Dark & Hard Hardcore)

"One of North America's most sought after acts, including over 300 headline performances across the continent. An unforgettable experience - unmatched anywhere in the world, the P4L4DiN 6.1™ prototype demonstrates what is possible when advanced technology and unrestrained creativity are combined into one complete package.

I feel that any successful DJ/producer should also be a "performer", because that is what (good) DJ's are: performers. I have always believed that being a performer means providing people with a "package". In my opinion, one component alone doesn't make up how good a performer is - but the whole. Being someone who stands on a stage and says "look at me" should do something that people want to look at. Too many DJ's pull down their Ball cap and stare at the mixer for an hour. I've spent plenty of time on the dance floor, as well as on stage - and I know that I expect more from any type of performance - as should anyone who pays to see me play. Now more than ever the crowd is educated (on a general level) as to what is a good set and what is a poor showing. I try and supersede what is expected of a "DJ set" by not only doing my best to give a great performance on stage, but to also provide people with a package that backs it up. I once had a shirt that said "This is Me", and that is still true.”

Miracle Incession :: Connection Saturdays @ Arizona B (Toronto, Canada) :: Live to air

The danceradio.ca family is pleased to welcome Miracle Incession (LIVE TO AIR) to the Saturday night roster on Radio 2. Be sure to tune in starting at 11PM EST until 2:00AM EST on Radio 2 and drop us some messages in the live chat or social stream (no video for this program).

From the classics of house, to the heart pounding & throttling sounds of today’s speaker ripping electro grooves, comes a whole new level of sound that’s been blowing up dance floors in clubs all across Canada, United States & the UK.

Music is more than a passion, and has become a way of life for this fast rising superstar. After DJing for many years & holding residencies at many clubs across Toronto & the surrounding regions, Michael has been transformed from Miracle the DJ, into Miracle Incession, one of Canada's hottest new electronic producers on the scene.

For well over a decade now, Michael has been involved with the music scene in every aspect, while his parents owned a DJ service as he grew up, he quickly became used to the routine and passion of pleasing a crowd at the early age of 9 years old. It was only a matter of time before Michael got involved with the alluring underground movement we call raving in 1992.

Drum & bass, jungle, and break beats seemed to be the eye opener for Miracle in the earlier electronic years. With his past experience as an all around disc jockey, and a love and understanding of music, experience has made him a wizard behind the turntables, preferring to play extensive 4 deck sets and bonding with the crowd the way that some might say is magical, yet euphoric.

With many tracks signed to different labels such as Don't Look Productions, Twisted Records, and a few others, expect nothing short of hardcore & intense mixing techniques, perfectly blending cutting edge technology with years of music programming experience that guarantees to bring any dance floor to that ultimate high causing a frenzy, each & every performance.

DJ Miracle is now Incession.
