D-LIFT was introduced to house music in a serious way in the fall of 2005. But it was after first touching decks with the help of DJ One-Eye in May-June of 2007 that started the new career.

Under the name DJ LIFT , D-LIFT performed at various house parties however it was in Aug. of 2007 thanks to DJ and Producer Dr.Phil, DJ Lift was introduced to the club decks by performing in his first afterhours: MINX AfterHours (Ottawa ).
Being an underground DJ, There the primary influences have been both Montreal and Ibiza. The artists that first influenced D-LIFT was Steve Lawler , Victor Calderone, Sven Vath, DJ Vibe, Deep Dish , D-Formation , Offer Nissim, John Digweed , Sasha and The Scumfrog.
But local Montreal producers and other talents that are an inspiration are Creator, Joubin , Mark Anthony , Franco Fabi , Cesar “Bass” Romano ,Stefane Lippe and Uppercut.
The genres of preference are essentially Progressive House and Minimal Techno, with some Tribal/Tech House elements. The underground/big room sound is something you can always expect from D-LIFT.
D-LIFT will “lift you higher”…He will take you on a trip filled with pulsating melodies , haunting and sensual vocals combined with both deep and heavy basslines.
DJ Lift has had opportunities to perform in several difference clubs/events thanks to the help from some of the best DJs in Ottawa and special thanks to DJ Dr.Phil who gave DJ Lift his first Ottawa/Hull opportunities.

In 2009 , D-LIFT became an official resident at BPM AfterHours in Hull, QC. and has been performing in the #1 Afterhours in Ottawa/Gatineau ever since. In Oct. 2009 , after returning from a spectacular visit to Ibiza ( Spain ) , D-LIFT introduced himself into the world of music production and has completed several house tracks using his patent dark and sexy sounds dedicated to the underground.
